Using Sekaiko
These Terms govern your use of Sekaiko, a creative studio for building fictional worlds and making books, movies, and other media. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the minimum age in your location is higher. If you are below the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian to use the service.
Your account
Studio access uses Google sign-in. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. Contact support@sekaiko.com if you believe someone has used your Sekaiko account without permission.
We may suspend access when needed to address fraud, security issues, or a serious breach of these Terms.
Your content
You keep the rights you have in the stories, characters, worlds, prompts, images, audio, video, and other material you create or upload (“Your Content”). You are responsible for having the rights needed to upload and use that material.
You give Sekaiko a non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transmit, and display Your Content as needed to provide the features you choose, maintain and secure the service, make backups, and provide support. This includes sending relevant content to an AI provider when you request a generation. This license ends when Your Content is removed from the service, subject to the retention described in our Privacy Policy.
We do not claim ownership of material generated for you. Whether an AI-generated result is protected by intellectual property law, and which rights you can exercise in it, may depend on applicable law, your input, and the provider used.
AI tools
Sekaiko uses third-party AI services for text, images, video, audio, and other generation features. Prompts, selected references, and relevant project context may be sent to the provider handling your request. See the Privacy Policy for more about this sharing.
Generated results may be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to material created for others. Review outputs before you publish or rely on them. You are responsible for your use of the results and for complying with any applicable provider restrictions.
Plans and credits
Sekaiko offers a free plan and optional monthly storage plans. AI generation uses credits purchased separately. The price of a plan or credit pack, and any applicable charges, are shown before purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Credits are tied to your account, are not cash, and cannot be transferred. Generation costs vary by model and request. Purchases and refunds are subject to the terms shown at checkout and applicable law. You can manage a storage subscription from your account settings or contact Support for billing help.
Acceptable use
Do not use Sekaiko to create, upload, or share material that:
- Breaks the law or infringes another person’s intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Harasses, threatens, exploits, or promotes violence against others.
- Contains sexually explicit or pornographic material, including sexual exploitation.
- Contains malware or attempts to compromise accounts, systems, or the service.
Do not evade safety controls, access areas without permission, or systematically extract data from the service. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules. Automated safety checks can make mistakes; contact Support if you think a decision was wrong.
Connected services and publishing
If you connect a service such as YouTube or TikTok, you authorize Sekaiko to use the access you grant for the actions you choose, including publishing on your behalf when you request it. The connected service has its own terms, permissions, and content rules. You can disconnect it in your account settings or through that service.
Availability
We may change features, models, prices, or availability as the studio evolves. We aim to give notice of material changes that affect your use of the service. Sekaiko is provided on an “as available” basis, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
Closing an account
You can request account deletion from your settings or through Support. Deletion affects your access and stored content; some records may need to be kept for legal, accounting, security, or backup purposes. The Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
We may suspend or close an account for serious violations of these Terms, fraud, or security risks. Provisions that need to continue after an account closes, including ownership and limits on liability, continue to apply.
Responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, Sekaiko is provided without warranties, including warranties about the accuracy or fitness of AI-generated results. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Our total liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $100, whichever is greater. These limits do not affect rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will provide notice in the service or by email where required and identify when the updated Terms take effect. If you do not agree to an update, stop using the service and contact us about your account.
